The Ahafo Regional New Patriotic Party office has announced that four aspirants have filed their nominations to contest in the party’s 2024 parliamentary primaries.
The four individuals who have filed their nominations are Frank Aduse-Poku (Asunafo South DCE), Mr. Kobby Amoah Mensah (NPP 2020 parliamentary candidate), Madam Nancy Owusu Kwartemaa (Asunafo South Constituency women organizer), and Mr. Albert Boakye Poku.
The Ahafo Regional NPP Chairman, Kwabena Owusu Sekyere, confirmed that all four aforementioned individuals are vying for the Asunafo South Constituency.
Kwabena Owusu Sekyere thus urged the four aspirants to be circumspect in their campaign messages in order not to soil relationships, as the party is hoping to snatch the seat from the National Democratic Congress.
“I have advised them to be circumspect in their messages during this campaign time because you don’t want to denigrate your brother to the extent that it will be difficult to patch up for the main campaign.”
“It is our target to win this seat back from the NDC because we have won this seat on two occasions and we want it again in 2024. The only way we can achieve that target is to be united, and we don’t want a dirty campaign ahead of the primaries,” he said on Rainbow Radio Accra.
