Ghanaian rapper Strongman has taken a swipe at colleague rappers who have referred to him as a broke musician.
According to the rapper, those who have described him as a broke rapper are not hardcore musicians.
He described them as ‘gameboys’, a term used to describe people who engage in internet fraud or scams.
He made the remarks while speaking in an interview with MC Portfolio.
Strongman was responding to a question on why he thinks rappers he had beef with refer to him as broke.
In his response to the host, he said, ‘All those who broke shame on me are gameboys and not musicians.
He said ‘anyone who broke shame on me is not a hardcore musician. If you can do music like me, you will not be a gameboy’.
He also stated that no rapper in Ghana can match his lyrical prowess.
Strongman posited that he is the only rapper in Ghana who has better lyrical prowess, and no one can match his energy when it comes to beef.
He said it was funny for people to describe him as broke when, by the grace of God, he is content with what he has achieved.
He emphasised that such people lack logical reasoning and do not struggle or hustle to make their money.
