Multiple award-winning Ghanaian disc jockey DJ Pho has emerged as the Mobile DJ of the Year at the 2023 Ghana DJ Awards.
DJ Pho, real name Kwaku Afriyie Asante Boateng, first won the ‘Mobile DJ of the Year’ award at the 2014 ceremony.
For the 2023 edition, he toppled AD DJ, DJ Mark D, DJ Speech, DJ Dela, DJ Juicy, DJ Page, and DJ Wallpaper.
DJ Pho hosts the ‘Total Request Live’, ‘Club 87’, ‘Listener’s Choice’, and ‘Vibes On Vibes’ shows on Accra-based Rainbow Radio.
In expressing his appreciation, he wrote “I am incredibly grateful for this award and humbled by the recognition. It is an honor to be among such a talented group of DJs. Thank you for this opportunity to showcase my work and for acknowledging my efforts.I will continue to work hard and strive for excellence in all that I do.A very big thank you to everyone who voted for me,your votes did the magic”.
