Ghanaian gospel musician Jojo Immanuel-Lawson has advised the youth against the desperate desire to enter marriage.
According to Jojo Immanuel-Lawson, life is not a rush, and marriage is a lifelong journey, hence the need for people to take their time and not allow themselves to be pressured into holy matrimony.
The gospel singer, who revealed that he is single in an interview with Soko Hemaa on Rainbow Radio Accra, said one needs to be prepared by God, but physical preparations such as financial stability need to be made first.
“I am single at the moment, but I’m not in a rush to marry, and people shouldn’t be moved by the world to marry at all costs. Once it is your time and you meet the right person, you will know that it is the appointed time.”
“The only problem is that you should be physically prepared when the right time comes, but God needs to prepare your partner for you. Life is not a rush, and when people reject you, move on because there are over 7 billion people in this world,” Jojo Immanuel-Lawson said on Rainbow Radio Accra.
