The Kasoa District Court has granted Ghanaian comedian and musician Funny Face bail after being remanded into police custody on March 26, 2024.
He was granted GHC120,000 in bail with two sureties by the District Court on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
The comedian was dragged to court after he allegedly knocked down three pedestrians crossing the Kasoa-Nyanyano Kakraba highway at the Kakraba Junction on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Funny Face also crashed into two motorcycles, causing injuries to the riders as well.
He was refused bail and remanded for two weeks, and he was asked to reappear today, April 9, 2024.
He has since been granted bail by the court.
Funny Face is expected to reappear in four weeks.
Meanwhile, two of the victims are receiving treatment at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
Two others continue to be catered to at the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa.
