The Deputy Communication Officer for the UK and Ireland Chapter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has slammed the founder of the Movement for Change (M4C) over his quest to contest and be elected as the next President of Ghana.
Fiifi Asante Mpare says the former Trade and Industry Minister is part of the mess caused by the incompetent President Akufo-Addo’s led administration and hence cannot be president.
The communicator indicated that the aspiring presidential candidate should not even think of contesting and making promises.
He described him as incompetent and lacking what it takes to be elected to manage the affairs of the country.
Mr. Mpare noted that Mr. Kyerematen, as Trade Minister, could not even operationalize the Komenda Sugar Factory, but he is today seeking to be elected President.
To him, Alan Cash, as he is affectionately called, is in the same league as the NPP and should not be considered for the position of next president.
“I commend M4C for contesting, but I am not commending them because they will win. They will create opportunities for the NDC since their participation in the elections will minimise the votes of the NPP. There is a saying that whoever seeks equity must come with clean hands. Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen is a fine gentleman, but his hands are dirty. He was the very person who was in bed with them. He is a true member of the New Patriotic Party.
If he had been elected as their presidential candidate with the support of government machinery, he would have projected the NPP and would not have listened to anyone. And so if today he is taking a swipe at them, we will not dispute it. But to the Ghanaian voters, be reminded that these two parties should not have your votes coming December because both of them have failed us. Alan was the trade minister for the NPP. He was supposed to operationalize the Komenda Sugar Factory but failed. How many people were employed in the trade sector? It is always good to have a third party, which is good for our politics,” he said while speaking in an interview with Dr Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM.
