Second Lady Samira Bawumia has urged traders and residents of Adeiso in the Eastern region to vote overwhelmingly for her husband as the future president of the nation.
According to her, her husband is not competing for personal wealth or interests, but rather for the sake of the country.
She mentioned this while speaking to traders and residents as part of her campaign visit in the area.
At the Adeiso market, she implored traders to remember President Akufo-Addo’s good accomplishments and vote for Dr. Bawumia to continue what his boss has accomplished.
The Second Lady stated that her husband has better policies that will help transform the country, hence the need for voters to vote for him and the NPP.
She noted that God has been good to the party and will see them through the upcoming December 7 general elections.
She told the traders that a new NPP government under Dr. Bawumia will address the challenges they face in accessing funds.
She highlighted the commitment of the Vice President to making access to capital easier for traders and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Samira Bawumia said the new government will initiate policies that will support businesses, including a Women’s Trade Empowerment Fund and an SME bank.
The parliamenatry candidate, Mr. Fredrick Afom Obeng, said the NPP government has embarked on several projects on which the constituency has had its fair share.
He encouraged them to vote for the party so they will break the 8-year-jinx and continue with the initiatives they have.
