The prayer service, which saw the congregants participate asked God to grant Ghana a righteous leader who will not steal from the resources of the country but pursue an agenda for national development, economic stability, and jobs for the youth of the country.

The Archbishop prayed that because God is interested in the affairs of man, he should give us somebody that will help the people and the country, and anybody who will steal our resources, God should send confusion and disorder to their camps.

He then specifically asked the congregants to pray against any agenda or plot to rig or subvert the will of the people.

“As we go into the elections, anybody who would subvert the will of the people, who would steal, cheat, and may God expose them. In the name of Jesus, Father, any group of people scenong, planning, to subvert, the will of the people, in this election, may they be exposed. Anybody at the centre of it, when they go to bed, let them not rise up. In the name of Jesus. Lord, we pray for peace that this nation will not plan into chaos. We bond every sprite of confusion, every spirit of disorder, every spirit of violence, and every spirit of bloodshed in the name of Jesus. We will not run away from this country. We will stay in this country because this is our nation,” he declared.

Archbishop Agyinasare further prayed that the families of those who have plotted to rig the elections and create confusion be bereaved and be turned to widows and widowers.

He stated that because God is interested in the affairs of men, he will guide Ghanaians, and his ministering angels influence the minds of voters, so this year’s election that the supernatural came into being and was loved, we pray for a man who will lift this nation up and someone who will not steal and take advantage of the nation.

“We ask the forces of heaven to work on our behalf, to uphold your glory and the desires of your people. Any group of persons that would want to cause chaos, we set down “fire against them “and let the devil rise up on their right hand. Let their children be fatherless, and their wives, widows, be because they have decided to turn this nation into something else.”
