The Electoral Commission (EC) has temporarily suspended the recollation of parliamentary results for constituencies at the National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra.
The EC suspended the exercise following disagreements over the exercise by the political parties.
The National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party have both raised concerns over the accuracy of the electoral results.
The NDC has accused the EC of discrepancies in the pink sheets from certain constituencies.
The NPP has also raised issues over the handling of the process and the time taken to recollate and declare the winners of the affected constituencies.
The EC has therefore suspended the recollation, announcing that further engagements with all political parties were necessary to ensure transparency and fairness.
