Ato Forson, Jinapor, and Ayine to be vetted on January 3

The Appointments Committee of Parliament is set to begin the vetting of ministers-designate on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 9:00 am.

President John Dramani Mahama officially communicated to Speaker Alban Bagbin on his first list of ministerial nominees in the persons of Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, John Jinapor, and Dr. Dominic Ayine for the Finance, Energy, and Justice Ministries, respectively.

“I have received on your behalf a message from the office of the President, dated January 9, 2025. Hon. members, I will accordingly refer the nominees to the Appointments Committee for consideration and report to the house; it’s so referred.”
