Vice President Prof. Nana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has extended her warmest wishes to Ghanaian Muslims as they celebrate Eid Mubarak, also known as Eid-ul-Fitr.
In a statement, the Vice President wished the Muslims and their families happy celebrations.
She stated that the dedication, values, and contributions of Muslims in enriching the nation and the world have been commendable.
In her statement, she prayed that the celebrations would bring them joy, peace and renewed strength.
“On this blessed occasion, I extend my warmest wishes to you and your families. Your dedication, values, and contributions enrich our nation and the world. May this celebration bring you joy, peace, and renewed strength.”
Ghanaians will today, Monday, March 31, 2025, kick off Eid al-Fitr celebrations to mark the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
Eid Mubarak, also known as Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr, is celebrated annually by Muslims around the world.
It comes right after the holy month of Ramadan ends, concluding a month of fasting from dawn to dusk. Eid is a celebration of unity, gratitude, and generosity.
