Prophet Nana Yaw Osei Tutu, also known as Prophet 99, General Overseer and Founder of Yehowa Beye Prayer Ministry, has claimed that all the prayers offered by prophets and top men of God at the engagement they had with President John Dramani Mahama did not reach God.
He alleges that the men of God who participated in the event came with a competitive mindset, rather than genuine hearts and minds.
Prophet 99 stated that only the one organised in Kumasi caught God’s eye.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he said, “These men of God who were invited to the event came there to show off their wealth, vehicles and vanity. They did not go there to participate in any meaningful activity. The prayers offered by the Kumasi clerics reached God compared to those in Accra. The big grammar they spoke and all the prayers they offered were meaningless and had no impact. The men of God in Accra are selfish, greedy and not united,” he added.
He also expressed concern that the prophets who prophesied about the victory of the NDC have not even been acknowledged, and at the event, they were relegated to the back and not given any form of recognition.
He told host Kwabena Agyapong that some of the prophets who had prophesied defeat for the NPP and later joined in prophesying about the NDC were the ones who were recognised. Prophet 99 maintained that “the prayers offered by Archbishop Duncan Williams and the other men of God did not reach God. Their prayers were meaningless.”
