President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Mr Kofi Totobi Quakyi as the Chair of the new Board of Directors for the National Gas Company.
The seasoned Ghanaian politician and former Minister for Information and National Security would be joined by eight other personalities, including former Electoral Commissioner Charlotte Osei.
Mr Quakyi, with his experience in governance and security management, brings invaluable expertise to the National Gas Company.
The Ghana Gas Company coordinates with all parties involved in Ghana’s gas value chain and works with upstream partners to supply gas from Ghana’s oil field.
The Chair and the other Baird members are expected to guide the management of the company in achieving its core objectives.
Ghana Gas Company has a presence in all aspects of the oil and gas industry.
It is one of the largest Ghanaian-based energy companies, which produces natural gas and other products.
