Madam Nyonkonpa Daniels, Executive Director of Peace Watch Ghana, has criticized Henry Nana Boakye, also known as Nana B, National Organiser of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), for advocating for Sammy Gyamfi’s removal.
She stated that Nana B has no moral right to even make that call considering how reckless the previous NPP government was.
He questioned his integrity and described him as a hypocrite for ignoring the ills of the NPP government and demanding the removal of Sammy Gyamfi over a matter that is already dead on arrival.
“Has anyone complained that his or her dollars have gone missing? Sammy Gyamfi has done nothing wrong to warrant his dismissal. It is not about the money. Nana B and the NPP should shut up. Nana B should not have the guts to even comment on this issue. Arrest Sammy Gyamfi for what? Has the GoldBod complained about missing money?
The only challenge was that Sammy Gyamfi handed over money to Agradaa, who insulted President John Dramani Mahama during the 2024 campaign season,” she stated on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM.
“We knew Nana B before his government came into office, and so he should be the last person to make these comments. Why did he not ask for the residences of Sammy Awuku, Oppong Nkrumah, Hawa Koomson, Ursula Owusu and Cecilia Dapaah to be searched while they were in office? Sammy Gyamfi had money and chose to give it out to Agradaa, so what’s wrong with that? Our only problem was that Agradaa did not deserve the money. The press was bogus. They should focus on reviving their dead party. How much are your watch and your designer shorts? Shut up because you don’t have the moral right to talk,” she stressed.
