Minister of Foreign Affairs Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced other significant agreements between Ghana and Morocco.
Ghana and Morocco had already signed a visa waiver agreement allowing Ghanaians to travel to Morocco visa-free.
The minister, in an update on his working visit to Morocco, indicated that the two countries have reached six other new agreements in the areas of education, health, and trade, among others.
As part of the agreements, there would be the training of Ghanaian youth to become pilots at Morocco’s prestigious pilot training academy as President Mahama prepares to bring back Ghana Airways.
According to the minister, there would also be educational exchange intervention, which would see Moroccan youth pursue courses in Ghana’s Maritime University and other universities.
In addition, a grand business forum is scheduled for October 2025 in Morocco, with Ghanaian businesses expected to collaborate with Moroccan businesses.
