A communication team member of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Bonsu, has asked all interested personalities who have expressed interest in the presidential candidate slot—with the exception of Bryan Acheampong—to forget about their ambitions.
The communicator stated that Bryan Acheampong is the only candidate among the rest with a proven track record of leadership, incorruptibility, dedication, and party sacrifice to represent the Elephant family in the 2028 presidential election.
Appearing on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Nana Bonsu asserted that the businessman, who is currently the Member of Parliament for Abetifi, has what it takes to lead the country.
According to him, the MP has succeeded in establishing businesses across several sectors and has the ability to initiate policies that could transform the country if given the opportunity to serve.
He therefore appealed to NPP delegates to settle on Bryan Acheampong as their candidate come January 31, 2026.
“Bryan Acheampong is the most credible candidate to lead the party in 2028. He has what it takes to be elected president. He has no scandals or acts of corruption hanging around his neck. He is a man of dignity, integrity, and competence—qualities needed to lead our party to victory in 2028. He is a unifier and someone who will restore hope and return the NPP to office,” he added.
