Alberto G. Salsiccia, Chief Financial Officer of Petraco Oil Company SA, has filed a complaint with the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) against Springfield Exploration & Production Ltd. and GMP Energy Ltd.
The complaint alleges a fraud scheme involving USD 94.35 million in losses, accusing the companies of fraudulent misrepresentation, criminal breach of trust, and concealment of financial transactions.
Salsiccia has petitioned EOCO to investigate and prosecute the companies under the Economic and Organised Crime Office Act and the Criminal Offences Act.
