Former Communications Director for the late John Evans Atta Mills has affirmed the competence of Charlotte Osei, who is scheduled to speak as keynote speaker at the 13th John Evans Atta Mills Commemorative Lecture.
According to Mr. Anyihodo, who is the founder of The Mills Institute (TMI), “Mindset, Integrity, Loyalty, Leadership and Service,” the former Electoral Commissioner is more than capable of speaking about the late Mills because she was a protégé of his.
In a series of tweets, he stated that he was also present when Madam Osei was first appointed to head the National Commission for Civic Education.
“I know it for a fact that, Charlotte was a protégé of Prez Atta-Mills. She was 1yr my senior in Legon & I was present when Prez Atta-Mills appointed her Head of NCCE. She is more than capable of speaking about her late Mentor. I wish her well today.”
He wished the organizers of the event, J.E.A MILLS MEMORIAL HERITAGE, well as they host this event in memory of the late Atta Mills.
According to him, although he is not part of the programme, he extends his well wishes to them, underscoring the need for them to move forward in unity in memory of their late hero, who was known as the Asomdweehene.
“Though I am not part of this programme, I wish them well. Let’s move forward in unity and understanding that the late President was a man of peace “Asomdwehene” as Ghanaians rightly called him.”
He further added that his only wish is to keep the legacy of his mentor and boss alive and was proud that despite all the struggles, others have joined in honoring that legacy.
“My only wish has been to keep the solid legacy of the late President alive so if after all the struggles, others have joined to vindicate me, all glory to God.”
