Man allegedly stabs fiancée to death after being refused sex

A 27-year-old man, identified only as Sammy, has allegedly fatally stabbed his fiancée in Chinese Down, near the Kasoa Toll Booth in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The victim has been identified as Mabale, a resident of Kalabule in the same community.

According to reports, the suspect visited the young woman and requested to have sex with her.

When she refused, stating she was on her period, the man became enraged and allegedly stabbed her multiple times in the neck with a knife, causing her death.

Following the alleged stabbing, the suspect attempted to take his own life by consuming a substance believed to be poison.

He did not die and is currently in critical condition.

The deceased was a seamstress, and the suspect is a carpenter.

The suspect has been transported to the Ngleshie Amanfro Polyclinic for treatment, while the victim’s remains have been taken to the police morgue for an autopsy and further investigation.
