The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public about a fake letter circulating on social media.

The letter claimed that 50,000 teaching and non-teaching staff were to be recruited.
However, a statement issued by the GES on Sunday, September 21, 2025, disclosed that the letter “is FAKE and did not originate from GES.”

It added that no such recruitment exercise had been announced and therefore the public should disregard it.

The Service assured the public that any official recruitment would be communicated “ONLY through the GES and the Ministry of Education official outlets.”

The GES is therefore advising the public to ignore the fake letter and report any fraudulent activities connected to it.
