Gospel musician Rose Adjei has affirmed that her relationship with Kwesi Ernest, the Chief Executive Officer of Media Excel Productions, remains strong despite the cessation of their professional working arrangement.
Speaking on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM with host Eddie Ray, Adjei revealed that even though she is no longer under the management of Media Excel, Mr. Ernest continues to treat her with the same level of support and regard as if she were still an active artiste with his label.
Rose Adjei acknowledged that her association with Kwesi Ernest was divinely orchestrated, stating, “I didn’t leave Media Excel on a bad note, and that is why anytime I meet Mr. Kwesi Ernest, he still treats me as if I am his artist.” She stressed the importance of maintaining positive connections after professional splits.
“I believe in life you don’t burn bridges,” Adjei asserted. “People come into our lives for a purpose, and when their purpose is complete, they will move on. That doesn’t mean you are enemies.”
She explained that their professional parting was amicable and peaceful. “It got to a point where he had to play a role in my destiny; God brought him in, he did his part, and left in peace. Our working relationship was beautiful. We stopped working several years ago, but we still have a solid relationship.”
In a separate discussion, the musician emphasised that her commitment to music is primarily a form of evangelism or ministry, rather than a pursuit of wealth.
Addressing her financial standing, she stated, “I am not rich, but by the grace of God, I am comfortable. If I remain dedicated to what I am doing for God, He will take good care of me. By His grace, I am comfortable.”
