Prophet Bernard ElBernard Nelson-Eshun has declared a voluntary hiatus from his public ministry and prophetic declarations, citing the need for introspection and enhanced accountability.
As outlined in his Accountability Statement released on Saturday, the decision follows his recent public apology regarding his prophetic declarations about the New Patriotic Party’s presidential primaries.
During this period, the Prophet will refrain from making public prophetic declarations, particularly those pertaining to national and political matters. He will also step back from public teaching, preaching, and active pulpit ministry for an unspecified duration.
According to his statement, this break will allow him time for prayer, counsel, and refinement in interpreting and communicating prophetic revelations.
Although he will be stepping away from public view, he emphasised that he is not relinquishing his calling and will continue to perform private pastoral duties and engage in personal study.
Prophet Nelson-Eshun underscored that this move is a deliberate and voluntary step towards personal growth and discernment.
“I value the trust of the people I serve, and I do not take it lightly,” he noted, expressing gratitude for the public’s patience and prayers during this transition.
