The Christian Council of Ghana (CCG) and Maxwell/EQUIP Leadership Ghana, today, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, held high-level discussions on how to effectively implement collaborative partnerships for training church leaders/members in various areas of leadership skills development.

Country Coordinator for Maxwell/EQUIP Leadership Ghana, Ambassador Bernard Quarm, led his team to the OSU Headquarters of the CCG to express their deep desire to partner with CCG for a solid collaboration between the Church and Maxwell/Equip Leadership Ghana.

According to Ambassador Quarm, his visit was to offer his thoughts on how his organisation would deem it a very great honour to partner CCG for leadership training at various levels of the Church’s strata both locally and internationally.

“We are very grateful for this unique opportunity to meet Christian Council and share our proposal to support and fund training programmes across all levels of the church leadership spectrum,” Ambassador Quarm stated.

The CCG’s team was led by Mr Samuel Koku Anyidoho, Communications Advisor to CCG, and Chairman of CCG’s Ecumenical Planning Committee.

On behalf of the General Secretary of the CCG, Dr Cyril Fayose, Mr Anyidoho thanked Ambassador Quarm and his team for their very generous gesture of wanting to partner with CCG in such a laudable manner.

“CCG is very delighted that a reputable institution such as yours is asking for our cooperation in leadership training, and I can assure you on behalf of the General Secretary that this positive gesture is very much welcomed and appreciated,” Mr Anyidoho said.

“John Maxwell’s leadership training is known worldwide, and from the point of CGG, John Maxwell’s open faith in God and the Church is certainly a good impetus to embrace the collaboration between the two groups,” Mr Anyidoho added.

John Maxwell’s Leadership Training offers a comprehensive, principle-based development system focused on the philosophy that leadership is a “learnable skill and not an innate talent”, training over 6 million leaders worldwide in various leadership roles.

Mr Anyidoho and Ambassador Quarm were classmates at the Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon, and graduated together in 2023.
