He said the family requests privacy and warns against spreading misinformation.

According to him, official funeral arrangements will be communicated later.

The announcement was issued by the Ebusuapanin and Elders of the Amokuma Tankam Ahinkora Anona Family of Dutch Komenda, Elmina, and Sekondi.

The statement was supported by high-ranking clergy, including Archbishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, President of the National Prophetic and Apostolic Churches Council (NPACC), and Archbishop General Dr Obenfo George Slezer Ofori-Atta of the Prelate Council of World Bishops and Clergies in Philadelphia, USA.

The family’s statement described him as a man whose “life, teachings, and spiritual guidance touched many souls,” noting that his legacy of love and dedication to ministry would remain a permanent fixture in the hearts of his followers.

The family, represented by Family Head Nana Kojo Danso Botha, expressed gratitude for the prayers and condolences received thus far.

However, they have also issued a warning against the spread of misinformation about the death of Prophet Elisha.

”The family respectfully urges the general public to refrain from spreading unverified information, false statements, or abusive comments regarding his passing,” the statement read.

It further noted that any individuals found circulating defamatory content would be dealt with in accordance with the law.
