As Muslims across the country mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan, the Member of Parliament for Builsa South and Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Dr Clement Abas Apaak, has extended a message of peace to the Islamic community and the nation at large.

In a statement released to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, Dr Apaak emphasised the spiritual significance of the season, praying that the occasion brings “joy to your home, peace to your heart, and countless blessings to you and your loved ones.”

He also used the opportunity to pivot toward national development. He urged Ghanaians to view the festival as a catalyst for social cohesion, calling on citizens to let the spirit of Eid renew national unity and deepen the sense of compassion for one another.

“Let Eid renew our unity, deepen our compassion, and strengthen our shared resolve to build a stronger, more prosperous Ghana for all,” Dr Apaak stated.

By linking the discipline and reflection of Ramadan to the “shared resolve” needed for nation-building,

Dr Apaak underscored the vital role that faith-based values play in the country’s socio-economic progress.

He specifically wished all constituents and the wider Ghanaian public a safe and reflective holiday.
