Gospel singer Josephine Dadzie-Baidoo, known in the industry as JDB, has revealed that her husband, Mr Benjamin Baidoo, is the primary financier of her music ministry.
Speaking during an appearance on the weekend morning show hosted by Eddie Ray on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, the artist expressed profound gratitude to her spouse, describing him as the backbone of her professional journey.
“My husband, Mr Benjamin Baidoo, is the one financing my music,” she stated. “He is my executive producer. He has been the one behind me all this while. I would want to use this opportunity to extend gratitude to my husband for standing behind me all this while.”
A banker by profession, the musician noted that she is currently intensifying her efforts to elevate her craft to a higher level. When asked why she had not pursued music on a full-time basis previously, she admitted that she had not dedicated sufficient time to it in the past, but she is now fully prepared to do so.
She emphasised that she has a repertoire of quality music and is eager for the public to experience her work. “I want to give my full attention to my music now,” she explained.
“We want people to listen to our songs because they are very good songs and very inspirational. That’s our purpose. We are promoting Christ, and that is why we want people to know about our songs.”
The musician concluded by asserting that the core objective of her ministry is to project Christ and win souls for the Kingdom of God.
