Father blames dwarfs for son’s disappearance; grandfather demands child’s return

A 31-year-old man, identified as Bernard Bawa, has been accused of the disappearance and suspected murder of his infant son after a farming trip ended in mystery.

The primary accuser is the suspect’s father-in-law, Kofi Frimpong, who has publicly challenged Bawa’s explanation for the child’s whereabouts.

According to family sources, Bawa took his young son to his farm in the Atebubu district earlier this week.

However, the father returned home alone, allegedly telling his family that the child was no longer with him.

When pressed for the boy’s location, Bawa provided a supernatural explanation that has sparked outrage and suspicion:

He claimed that while at the farm, mystical dwarfs emerged and took the baby away, preventing him from bringing the boy back home.

Kofi Frimpong, the child’s grandfather, has flatly rejected this claim. Frimpong believes the “dwarf” story is a cover-up for a far more sinister act.

He has reportedly issued a strict ultimatum to Bawa, demanding that the 31-year-old produce the child within a few days or face the full consequences of the law and traditional authorities.

Local authorities in the Bono East Region are expected to investigate the matter, as the disappearance of a minor under such circumstances is treated as a high-priority criminal case.
