The Bono Regional Minister, Honourable Lawyer Joseph Addae Akwaboa, has pledged to exert exceptional effort to ensure the completion of the Bono Region’s portion of the Government’s 24-hour economy model market by December 2027.
During his “Accounting to the People Tour” in Berekum West and the sod-cutting ceremony marking the commencement of Berekum West’s 24-hour economy market, he tasked Nananom to compare the achievements of the NDC government within one year to those of the NPP over eight years, encouraging them to discern the difference.
He emphasised that upon completion, the 24-hour economy market at the Berekum West District capital will significantly enhance the community. He further called upon Nananom and the citizens to offer their prayers for President Mahama and to support him in achieving greater success for the development of both Berekum West and Ghana as a whole.
Honourable Dickson Kyere Duah, Member of Parliament for Berekum West, revealed that the Berekum West District has experienced significant growth through numerous developmental initiatives of the NDC government.
These include Central projects, GETFund projects, MP’s DACF projects, and Assembly projects, all achieved within the one year and five months of the NDC’s governance.
Nana Baffour Tutu Asare, the Chief of Jinjini, expressed his appreciation to the Bono Regional Minister and the NDC government for facilitating development in the Berekum West and Jinijini communities.
He prayed for strength and favour for the minister to enable him to successfully complete his works to ensure the prosperity of the Bono region.
