The Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google for Education, represented by Global Managing Director Kelvin Kells.
This strategic agreement aims to modernize Ghana’s education system by integrating advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into nationwide teaching and learning.
The partnership focuses on enhancing digital literacy, building teacher capacity, driving classroom innovation, and equipping students with essential 21st-century skills for a technology-driven global economy.
At the signing ceremony, the Minister highlighted the collaboration as a transformative milestone that underscores the government’s commitment to leveraging global partnerships and digital transformation.
He added that the initiative positions Ghana to build an inclusive, future-ready education system that ensures no child is left behind in the digital age.
