According to law enforcement, police authorities intercepted the video online at approximately 12:10 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026.

Recognising the immediate threat to student safety, a night patrol team was instantly dispatched to the school premises to contain the situation.

With the swift cooperation of the school administration, the police identified and apprehended the individuals featured in the footage.

The police identified three of the suspects as Raymond Gyamfi, 18, Oscar Amemoair, 18, and Odartey Wilson, 18, alongside one juvenile whose identity remains protected.

In an official statement confirming the arrests, the Head of Public Affairs for the Tema Regional Police Command, ASP Dede Dzakpasu, stated that the suspects are currently in police custody, assisting with investigations.

ASP Dzakpasu urged the student body to maintain order, advising them to “resolve disagreements peacefully through laid down school structures and refrain from acts of violence or intimidation.”

The police administration further called on external stakeholders to actively participate in curbing indiscipline, encouraging parents and school authorities to strengthen guidance, supervision, and discipline among students to help maintain safety and order across various schools.

The Tema Regional Police Command has assured the general public that thorough investigations into the root cause of the incident are ongoing, adding that further developments will be communicated in due course.
