Prominent political figure Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, has instructed his lawyers to issue a demand notice to a TikTok user over a secretly recorded video.
According to the legal document dated 30 June 2026 from Moomin & Botta Solicitors, the incident occurred earlier in the month when the TikToker, Emmanuella Arthur, met Mr Appiah at the reception area of his apartment in Accra.
The document states that Arthur secretly filmed Mr Appiah during their conversation without his knowledge or consent.
The recording was subsequently published on Arthur’s TikTok account, “elladiariess”, alongside captions suggesting Mr Appiah acted improperly towards her.
The legal team categorically denies the allegations, explaining that Mr Appiah invited Arthur to his room for privacy, but respected her decision when she declined and left the reception area alone.
The lawyers described the publication as false, misleading, and calculated to expose their client to public hatred and ridicule.
They noted the video has circulated widely on social media, attracting damning comments that have seriously damaged his personal and professional reputation.
The legal notice demands that Arthur immediately delete the offending video from all platforms and publish an unreserved apology on her TikTok account within 24 hours.
This apology must be rendered in a video format and remain visible for no less than 14 consecutive days.
Arthur is also required to provide a written undertaking to the law firm within seven days to refrain from further publications concerning the incident.
The solicitors warned that failure to comply with these directives will trigger immediate legal proceedings against her, including claims for defamation, breach of privacy, and aggravated damages.
