murder

The bereaved family and children of popular Kasoa-based herbal practitioner, Dr Felix Antwi Dankwah, have renewed their passionate calls for swift justice following revelations in a newly released police autopsy report, which indicates that he was allegedly murdered before his residence was torched.

Dr Antwi Dankwah, the proprietor of the Antwi Herbal and Spiritualist Centre in Kasoa, tragically lost his life in a blaze that consumed his home.

His wife and two employees were subsequently taken into police custody, where they remain to assist with ongoing investigations into the incident.

Speaking to journalists on behalf of the family, the deceased’s eldest son, Daniel Osei Antwi, expressed deep frustration over the pace and general handling of the court proceedings currently unfolding at the Kasoa High Court.

He disclosed that the official medical examination confirmed their worst fears, establishing that the late herbalist was killed prior to the outbreak of the fire. In light of these findings, the family is appealing to the Inspector General of Police and the judicial authorities to ensure that those responsible face the full rigor of the law.

Adding to the family’s grief, Mr Antwi raised grave security concerns regarding the late practitioner’s property. Despite the premises being designated as a restricted crime scene by law enforcement, he reported that unauthorized individuals have repeatedly trespassed into the house to steal valuable personal belongings.

He strongly urged the police administration to step up security measures at the property to preserve critical evidence and protect the estate while the investigation continues.
