“The delegates of our great party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP), have spoken in our historic National Delegates Conference held here in Kumasi. Their collective verdict is a profound reaffirmation of our proud democratic tradition, internal vitality, and collective commitment to the future of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo family,” he stated.

Extending his well wishes to the newly elected party leader, Mr. Agyarko noted that the delegates had reposed their trust in Mr. Boadu to steer the affairs of the ruling party, wishing him wisdom, strength, and success in his new role. He also commended all other newly elected National Executives across various offices, remarking that their victories represented a collective call to duty, service, and sacrifice.

Expressing appreciation to his campaign team, constituency executives, and supporters across the country and the diaspora, Mr. Agyarko commended their loyalty and commitment throughout the campaign period.

“You conducted this campaign with dignity, vigor, and unyielding love for our party, and for that, you have my highest respect,” he said.

Addressing the post-election atmosphere within the party, Mr. Agyarko stressed that internal contests should not be viewed as battles between adversaries, but rather as family contests aimed at a shared purpose.

“Today, there are no individual victors or vanquished – it is the New Patriotic Party that has emerged victorious. The election is behind us, and the time for consolidation begins immediately. The challenges ahead of our nation and party require closing ranks, binding every wound, and presenting an impenetrable, united front,” he added.

He reaffirmed his readiness to work alongside Chairman John Boadu, the National Executive Committee, and the party’s Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, towards securing victory in the 2028 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Mr. Agyarko further commended the NPP National Elections Committee, the Electoral Commission of Ghana, and the security agencies for ensuring a smooth and peaceful electoral process.
