The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect captured in a viral video inciting violence against public officials and government workers.
He has been identified as David Kwodwo Prah Afful.
A statement issued by the Police announced that the suspect was arrested on Saturday, September 13, 2025, through a sustained intelligence-led operation by the police.
The suspect, popularly known online as Kwame Nkrumah the Second, was arrested at his hideout near Kasoa Market around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday.
According to the Police, the suspect used his social media platform to issue threats against government officials, journalists, and civil servants.
He is said to have incited people to attack officials driving vehicles with official green number plates.
He also allegedly threatened to set markets ablaze and urged his followers to commit similar violent acts.
He is currently in custody and will soon be arraigned on charges of issuing threats against public officials and inciting violence.
