During the programmatic review, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang commended FES for its long-standing dedication to improving quality of life, promoting equity, and creating institutional opportunities for marginalised groups.

She urged the foundation to sustain and expand its specialized training initiatives, which are critical to equipping women with the necessary skills to navigate and lead within governance and public life.

The discussions also focused heavily on demographic investments, with both parties highlighting the strategic importance of building capacity among the youth.

Acknowledging that Ghana’s large youth population presents a dual reality of complex challenges and immense opportunities, the Vice President noted that intentional investments in confidence-building, technical skills, and leadership readiness are vital to securing national progress.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to deepen collaboration on structural inclusion and sustainable social development. Prof. Opoku-Agyemang reiterated that the administration remains fully receptive to strategic partnerships aimed at driving these national socio-economic objectives forward.
