The Elections Directorate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), headed by the Acting Director of Elections and IT, Mahdi Gibril, has issued an important notice directing all party appointees with voting rights to submit their personal details for inclusion in the upcoming internal elections.
According to the official directive signed by Mahdi Gibril, the measure specifically target appointees whose names are currently missing from the constituency records.
“All appointees who have voting rights in the Regional and National elections and whose names are not in the Constituency Album per the Party guidelines are required to submit their details to their respective Regional or Constituency Elections Directors for inclusion of their names in the Regional and National Albums,” the statement directed.
The party leadership has set a strict deadline of 2nd November, 2026, for all affected appointees to complete the submission process.
The Directorate further cautioned that no extensions or secondary provisions will be made available after the stipulated date, stressing: “Note: There shall be no supplementary register”.
The directive forms part of the NDC’s broader efforts to streamline its electoral roll and guarantee transparency ahead of the party’s regional and national executive contests.
