The Board of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has lifted the ban on dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
The Board in a statement said it agreed to readmit the two top artistes back to the scheme with the hope that the scene that caused their infinite suspension would not occur again.
The scheme says they are eligible to file nominations if they so wish.
The two were in 2019 banned indefinitely from participating in all aspects of the country’s foremost music award scheme, the Vodafone Music Awards (VGMAs).
The decision was taken following a brawl between the two musicians at the 20th anniversary of the VGMAs.
