Music duo, GH Story have appealed to the Ministry of Creative Arts to invest in the industry since it has the potential of creating jobs and wealth.
The music duo says the government must invest quality money into the creative arts industry because it is a multi-billion industry that will help reduce the rate of unemployment in Ghana.
It is their hope that the Creative Arts Ministry would receive the highest allocation in the national budget.
In their view, the investment should cover infrastructure development, education and training of human resource, legislation, policy formulation and funding.
They also believe that the government could use the creative arts to tackle indiscipline, corruption, poor sanitation, injustice and environmental degradation since in their view, it is the bane of our problems.
The creative arts industry the due stated could also be used to shape our thinking and behaviour towards the country.
They further admonished industry players in the financial sector to take advantage and invest in the creative industry.
To their colleagues in the industry, the duo asked them to add value to their craft for greater returns instead of spending lavishly.
