A UK-based Ghanaian promoter, Alodia Productions, has spoken against the abuse of drugs amongst the youth.
Speaking exclusively to Sokoohemaa Kukua on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said the abuse of drugs would amount to nothing but self-destruction.
He said it was not been all rosy because life has been challenging.
He said with dedication, hard work and discipline one could get to the ladder.
He, however, stressed that drugs should not be an option for any young person because it could prevent them from achieving their goals.
The organizer of the Ghana Music Awards UK told the host the youth must strive to start from small beginnings and not engage in acts because they want to be rich at all cost.
He also used the opportunity to advise Ga traditional leaders to assist the youth to reach their full potential.
He has hinted of plans to be a traditional ruler in some years to come so he will help the youth.
He said if the youth claim that there are no jobs, he does not agree with that because young people can start with selling and gradually grow from that.
