Ghanaian gospel musician Brother Sammy has reiterated his position that sex before marriage should not be described as a sin.
The musician appearing on the mid-morning show on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm said it would be proper for would be couples to engage in premarital sex before saying yes.
This he argued would prevent all forms of surprises for married persons.
To him, sex contributes to 90 percent of successful marriages but this truth has been denied Christians by men of God.
He said it is not surprising that marriages of non Christians and persons who are seen as worldly are succeeding as compared to that of gospel musicians.
He told host Sokoohemaa Kukua that it is painful that gospel musicians have their marriages collapsing all because they could not understand that sex was important for marriages to succeed.
Brother Sammy said “we do not go to bed to have sex with spirituality. Sex is important in marriage and so every couple must understand this. Without sex, you would not be able to have children. Without sex, you will stop procreation and so, we have to accept that sex before marriage is important.
“This is not prophesy, this is reality. What I am talking about is important and crucial. You can choose to believe it or not. This is the truth,” he added.
