Ghanaian veteran actor Bob Smith Junior, also known as Diabolo Man, has asked Ghanaians not to wait for veteran actors to die before they appreciate them.
The actor said we have veteran actors who are still alive and as a country, we must reward them for what they have done for the country before they pass on to eternity.
He was reacting to the demise of veteran actor Kofi Laing popularly known in showbiz circles as ‘Kohwe’.
According to reports, the actor died on Thursday at his Accra residence.
Sources say the veteran actor suffered from a stroke recently and was receiving treatment.
Reacting to the issue, Diabolo Man said Ghana has lost a great and industrious actor who did a lot for the industry.
He said Ghanaians have lost a talented and creative personality.
In his view, it would be prudent for Ghanaians to appreciate our veterans and provide them with any form of support they need.
He added that we don’t have to wait for them to die before we appreciate and talk about what they have done.
