New gospel musician Obibiba OB has claimed that the element of praises in the gospel fraternity is lost.
The musician says several of their colleagues are doing more worship songs compared to praises and as a new face, he intends to change that.
He said as musicians they should do their best in blending the two and not focus on just doing only one aspect.
Appearing on The Weekend Morning Show on Rainbow Rainbow 87.5Ffm, he said he is prepared to close that gap.
The former highlife musician currently has over 10 highlife tracks to his credit and two new gospel tracks.
He told host Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi that the element of praises in our gospel songs is gone and as someone who has been given the gift, I want to close that gap. The gospel musicians are not releasing praises for us to use in our churches and that is something I want to do,” he added.
