The Ghana Football Association has with immediate effect suspended the betPAWA premier league due to an injunction served to the FA by Human Right High Court.
This is in connection with the demotion of Ashanti Gold FC to the division 1 league due to betting activities by some high-ranking officials of the club as well as match-fixing.
The FA urged all stakeholders to remain calm while working hard to find a final solution to the issues, according to a brief statement issued by the FA.
