Fred Kofi Pare, a former Ghanaian player who was part of Ghana’s team that competed in the men’s tournament at the 1964 Summer Olympics, believes Ghana can win this year’s World Cup in Qatar.
“Ghana has a chance to win this year’s World Cup in Qatar.” I have faith in the current team. “I believe they will win the World Cup for Ghana.”
“To achieve this, the players must be committed and willing to die for the country at that level,” he said.
Kofi Pare also believes that the involvement of former players in encouraging and motivating current players will be critical in bringing the World Cup trophy home.
“The old players should be invited to the camp to talk to the new players.” The players will be motivated as a result of this. We’ve been there before, and we know what it’s like.”
He made the remarks while speaking to Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi on Rainbow Sports on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm.
The Black Stars will face Switzerland in a friendly three days before the World Cup kick-started.
