Residents of Weija Gbawe have been subjected to an acute water shortage which they say is unbearable.
The residents who spoke to Rainbow Radio’s Fiifi Ankomah disclosed that throughout the festive season, they were not able to have access to water.
According to our reporter, the situation has compelled residents to use sachet water for their household needs.
Other residents must get up early in the morning to walk long distances in search of water.
He said the residents at Top Base, Pentecost Junction, Buleemli, and Gonsee, among others, say they are struggling to survive hence authorities to address their concerns.
