The Christian Council of Ghana has admonished the government to suspend the debt restructuring programme and engage stakeholders.
A statement issued by the Council noted that the engagements with stakeholders would help the government to appreciate the concerns raised by Ghanaians.
It also urged the media to be diligent in its reportage on the matter and ensure they speak to professionals to avoid the circulation of false information.
The Council also pledged to continue praying for God’s wisdom and direction for economic managers, particularly the Finance Minister.
