Drivers in Odorkor have expressed worry at a deep hole that has developed on the street.

The drivers told Rainbow Radio’s Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi that the situation is affecting the movement of vehicles especially when it rains.
The drivers believed the situation was hazardous to public safety and road use and demanded that authorities address it immediately.

“When it rains, the hole collects water and makes driving difficult. Drivers are forced to use the pavement or alternative routes. Water is also unable to flow through the area’s gutters, exacerbating our situation when it rains. The gutter is overflowing. We are appealing to those in authority to address our concerns.”

The drivers have also attempted to cover the hole with gravel on several occasions, but when it rains heavily, the gravel and sand are washed away.
