A 13-year-old girl was burned on one of her breasts after her mother used a hot iron on her.
The suspect, Madam Cynthia, was allegedly attacked by her mother because she had misplaced her Ghc5.
According to the details emerging, the mother asked the minor to go buy ‘akpeteshie,’ a local drink and cigarette for her.
She had asked her daughter to buy her the alcohol and cigarette after she had prepared fufu around 5:30 a.m.
However, the minor misplaced Ghc5 out of the Ghc7 she was given.
According to reports, the mother heated and unplugged the iron and attacked the daughter with it.
The mother was later arrested and released on bail.
The minor had not yet been taken to the hospital.
