James Gyakye Quayson, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Assin North, will be sworn in today, July 4.
His inauguration comes a week after his victory on June 27.
He was elected in the Assin by-election after the seat was declared vacant by the Supreme Court on May 17.
The Supreme Court ruled that he was illegally elected and that his name should be removed from the records of parliament.
Gyakye Quayson was re-elected in a by-election for the Assin North constituency, receiving 57.56 percent of the total votes cast.
He received 17,245 votes, defeating Charles Opoku of the NPP, who took 42.15 percent of the vote, and Bernice Enyonam Sefenu of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), who received 0.29 percent.
