A newborn baby girl was discovered alive after being abandoned on the doorstep of a reverend minister.
The baby was left on the doorstep of the resident Pastor of the New Covenant Apostolic Church, Ahodwo, Kpong, yesterday (Sunday, July 16, 2023).
A suicide note was also discovered alongside the baby, which was thought to have been left by the mother.
In the note, she asked the man of God to care for the baby as if it were his own because it was the best chance for her (the baby) to live.
The suicide note read: ”By the time you finish reading this letter, I will be dead and gone, please take care of the baby as your own child. Please, I regret doing this, but that is the only way this baby can have a chance to live. Please, she was born just yesterday night. Please take care of her. I’m sorry, please forgive me.” God bless you”.
